Located 60 miles northeast of Albuquerque, Santa Fe is a historic city that’s known for its beauty, charm and culture. Our newest JDRF Ride includes multiple routes up to 100 miles through moderately hilly, scenic terrain. With lodging options located within walking distance of the Santa Fe Historic Plaza, you can enjoy the world-renowned cuisine, art galleries and markets in your downtime. This Ride is sure to leave a lasting impression long after you’ve crossed the finish line!

Our newest JDRF ride features multiple routes up to 100 miles and over ‘6000 of climbing. This ride will be a great goal for those seeking a challenge in the beautiful American Southwest. Stay tuned for more information as we finalize this exciting new course.
Travel

Each fundraising package includes different travel options, some of which may include:
• Round-trip airfare to Santa Fe via Albuquerque, NM
• Round-trip shuttle from the Albuquerque International Sunport to one of our host hotels
• Bike shipping to and from Event
• Hotel accommodations (double occupancy) at one of our multiple host hotels: Eldorado Hotel and Spa and the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza

Lodging

JDRF utilizes multiple hotels in the area to accommodate our riders. Some of these hotels include but are not limited to:

Depending on your fundraising package, JDRF covers hotel accommodations (double occupancy) for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Please note, private rooms are accommodated based on availability. The Santa Fe Community Convention Center, located within walking distance of the host hotels, will serve as the main hub for weekend events.

Meals

All fundraising packages include the following meals throughout the Ride weekend:
• Thursday evening Welcome Reception Dinner
• Breakfast Friday-Sunday
• Pre-Ride celebration and awards dinner on Friday evening
• Post-Ride celebration and awards dinner on Saturday evening
After training with our coaches, meeting your fundraising goals and traveling to Santa Fe, JDRF offers a four-day experience unlike any other.
Thursday
• Arrive at host hotel.
• Pick up JDRF Ride tech t-shirt and information packet at the JDRF registration booth.
• Attend evening welcome reception, featuring dinner and presentations.
Friday
• Course Overview / Mandatory Safety Clinic
• Tune-up ride in the morning
• Free afternoon to explore the area
• Optional afternoon seminars, which may include:
      o  Cycling with T1D
      o  JDRF Research Update
• Pre-ride celebration and awards dinner
Saturday - Ride Day!
• Santa Fe Ride and finish line party
• Post-Ride celebration dinner
