JDRF iRide 2018 - JDRF iRide 2018

Loveland

Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Northern Colorado just 45 minutes north of Denver, Loveland is the perfect base camp for all your Northern Colorado adventures. Hailed as the Gateway to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, Loveland is an ideal location that appeals to all types of cyclists. This Ride will offer multiple route options ranging from 32 to 100 miles of rolling hills and scenic views!

Skirting the Colorado Front Range, this route starts east of Loveland and travels through the downtown area before moving into the country. The route follows many of the same roads used by the USA Pro Challenge professional race while avoiding the major hills. Beautiful views of the Rockies will be off to the west as riders travel on two lane county roads. The high point (literally!) of the ride will be the gradual, and beautiful, climb up Buckhorn Road – followed by a descent and flat to rolling roads back to the finish. Cheerful staff, volunteers, mechanics and fellow riders will be cheering you on the roads, helping you recharge at the rest stops and taking care of any mechanicals you may encounter. This moderately challenging course features rolling hills and several mileage options from 20 to 100 miles, accommodating beginner cyclists and seasoned veterans.
